Remember you will be spending five days and four nights in the region of Andalucia. You will be arriving at the Málaga airport early in the morning on the first day and departing around 10:00 p.m. on your fifth day. In groups of three, you will each be responsible for researching a different portion of your trip. Team Member #1 will be in charge of selecting the five cities or towns to visit and identifying the mode of transportation between each city. Team Member #2 is responsible for identifying three things your group "must see" in each location including why your group must see it. Team Member #3 must research and select a restaurant for dinner and a place to stay for each of your four nights. Don't forget to collaborate with each other as each person's information is important to the others (i.e., you can't pick sites or hotels if you don't know which cities you are visiting). Here are some helpful tips for writing your itinerary. After clicking on the link "Andalucía", click on "Destinations in Andalucía." From there, you may want to choose five different towns & cities from the list given to begin your research. The following organizer might help you create this itinerary for your group of three.
Team Member #1
1. Research and select five cities or towns in the region of Andalucia for your team to visit. Let your fellow team members know which cities you will be visiting so they can start researching sites, hotels, and restaurants before you move on to the next step.
2. Determine the distance between each town or city and select the best mode of transportation to get there. Be sure to note the length of time needed for this transportation as it will impact your day's activities. Be practical! You may want to start with a city that is closest to the airport and work your way around from there. Don't forget to include your transportation from the airport to your first city and from your last city back to the airport.
Team Member #2
1. Get the list of cities from Team Member #1.
2. Research famous and/or interesting sites in each city that you can visit. Narrow your list down to three sites for each city.
3. Include an explanation of each site and why this is a "must see".

2. Research restaurants in each city or town that you will visit and choose one where your group will eat that night. You will need to find one for each day for a total of five (your flight is at 10:00 p.m. but you should be at the airport by 8:00 p.m., so plan for an early dinner on the last night). Include an explanation as to why you chose each restaurant.
3. Research hotels, inns, or hostels in each city or town that you will visit and choose one where your group will stay that night. You fly out on the last night, so you will only need one for each of the first four nights. Again, include an explanation as to why you chose each place to stay (accomodations, view, price, etc.).
Entire Group
Make sure you are communicating with each other. This is one trip and each person's information is important for setting up the whole trip. Once you have compiled the information gathered by each team member, come up with a creative way to present your information. You can choose to make a poster board display, a tri-fold brochure, or a Power Point presentation. Don't forget to self-check yourself against the rubric in the evaluation section to make sure you have included all necessary information.
